Features

CinemaFocus supports masking and alpha-channels. You can adjust the amount of focal manipulation layer by layer.
There is no need for laborious preparation before using CinemaFocus. Simply cut out masks and layer materials with alpha-channels as you would for a regular composite job then apply CinemaFocus effects to the desired layer to make it naturally defocussed. Applying the effect to layers close to the front allows you to create a lovely foreground blur. Magnificent depth of field (DOF) qualities can be represented by applying various levels of effects onto multiple layers.

Virtual camera enhances images with the qualities of a traditional lens
CinemaFocus has been developed to reproduce realistic depth of field effects normally achieved by film cameras and apply them to digital video images at the post production stage of your project.

The benefit of this software is not only that it revitalizes the featureless flat images of HDTV/DV camcoders due to their very deep DOF lens character, but that it lets you control DOF over the composite images composed of pan-focused and blueback materials shot for composite purposes.

This means you can control and adjust each component of your work until you are satisfied with the emphasis on the main subject and the focus on secondary objects and backgrounds. CinemaFocus revitalizes the visual impact of featureless and flat composite/CG pictures with great authenticity. CinemaFocus does not require complicated settings like FinalFocus. You can reproduce realistic focal effects with the ease of applying a standard filter.
